I have tried resetting the SMC but it didnt give any noticeable results. Alternatively, for the mac side of things, the CPU was being utilized to approximately 80% or so (sometimes even more). ![]() I have also tried disconnecting the two monitors but still resulted in a temperature of high 90s.Īlso, I tried installing bootcamp to have the game run on bootcamp and I noticed that the CPU is not utilized very heavily (ie: approximately 30%) but there is the issue of the super high temperature as well. One possible difference is that I do have 2 monitors connected of which one is a 1080p and the other 1440p. The thing is, I used to own a 2010 macbook pro and it was able to run it just fine. ![]() However, I when I tried to run some games, the temperature of the CPU soars to 100C. I noticed that when I try let it sit idly, then it typically results in a temperature of approximately 50 C or so, which is fine. ![]() I have a 2015 13" macbook pro with some odd results with regards to the CPU temperature.
